VEDI's principal investigator, Geoff Francis, has worked extensively with lawyers acting for both defendants and plaintiffs. He has been involved in cases which simply require a short report to those which entail extensive field investigations and reporting.

He has developed a multi-disciplinary approach to investigations ranging from simple inspections, based on experience, to more advanced techniques involving data analysis, statistics, quality control analysis and laboratory tests or investigations. Where necessary other specialist will be recommended to join the investigating team.

Mr. Francis' overall approach is to determine the facts of the case and then review the conclusions with the client to determine the preferred course of action.
